Poindexter will manage major projects involving storm water management and public utilities infrastructure, Rodriguez said. Poindexter has worked for more than 10 years in the field while living in Orlando, Florida.
“Sara is new to Philadelphia and we are happy to have someone on our team who is experienced in utilities work, especially as Rodriguez Consulting continues to expand in the Mid-Atlantic region,” said Rodriguez. “Attracting talented professionals like Sara to Philadelphia says a lot about the success of the City's Green City, Clean Waters Program and its perception around the nation.”
Poindexter previously worked at the Orange County Utilities Department in Orlando, Florida, two of those years as Chief Engineer. She is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin.
New to Philly but settling in nicely, Poindexter has already biked Fairmont Park, explored the Mutter Museum and downed her first cheesesteak, although it was a vegetarian one at Monk’s Café.
“I am thrilled about joining the Rodriguez Team and the opportunity to integrate my prior experience with Philadelphia's progressive initiatives,” Poindexter said.
