Sara Poindexter Appointed to the City of Philadelphia Plumbing Advisory Board

PHILADELPHIA, PA – January 3, 2018 – Sara Poindexter appointed to the City of Philadelphia Plumbing Advisory Board.

Rodriguez is proud to announce that our COO, Sara Poindexter, has been appointed by Mayor, James F. Kenney, to the City of Philadelphia Plumbing Advisory Board.  The newly appointed board is made up of seven industry professionals and is responsible for formulating recommendations for a new Philadelphia Plumbing Code. The new Plumbing Code will be based upon the national standards developed by the International Code Council as adopted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

“Over the past year, Sara has been working diligently with members of the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia (BIA) on improving the plumbing permitting process and promoting an updated, greener plumbing code” said Lou Rodriguez, CEO of Rodriguez. “She is truly an expert and leader in land development, not just locally, but nationally, and its great to see her being recognized for her efforts.”

The board’s first public meeting is schedule for January 4, 2018. If you wish to provide comments to the Board on a new plumbing code for Philadelphia, the meeting is scheduled for:
