PHILADELPHIA, PA - April 14, 2011 - Lawrence Court, a residential housing development located on a former industrial site in the St. Hugh neighborhood of Philadelphia's Latino community, is scheduled to open on 4/27/2011. The project marks the first new such homeownership development in the community in more than 60 years and was developed by the Hispanic Association of Contractors & Enterprises (HACE) and Allied Construction. Rodriguez Consulting was the civil engineer on the project which involved designing a new street (4th Street from Ontario St. to Westmoreland St.), new city water mains, and new city sewers, as well as, obtaining a PWD stormwater permit and PADEP NPDES permit. The grand opening is scheduled for 12PM on 4/27 at 3300 N. Lawrence Street.
