PHILADELPHIA, PA - October 1, 2013 - Rodriguez Consulting is proud to be a participant in this weekend's 2013 Hometown Heroes' Event at the Horsham Air Station. The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) has awarded Lou Rodriguez the "PATRIOT" Award for the company's support of our brave men and women serving in the Guard or Reserve. Matthew Sherwood, a Staff Engineer at Rodriguez, is a First Lieutenant with the 333rd Engineer Company out of Reading, PA and is currently deployed in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
In December the 333rd Engineer Company will be the only U.S. Army Horizontal Engineer Company remaining in Afghanistan. Matt is expected to return home to the USA in February and is planning to rejoin Rodriguez's Infrastructure Team in March. Hometown Heroes Day 2013 is an Event Sponsored by the Friends of the Family Readiness Group. Their mission is to give recognition to the heroes in our community. The Volunteers, families and employers who support and love the brave individuals who protect our nation. The event will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at the Horsham Air Guard Station (1051 Fairchild Street, Horsham, PA 19044). The Pennsylvania South East Committee for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) will be holding its first combined awards ceremony at the event.
