PHILADELPHIA, PA - OCTOBER 28, 2011 - The development team of Orens Brothers Real Estate, Mosaic Development Partners and Metamorphosis Community Development Corporation broke ground on the Diamond Green student housing project, located at 10th & Diamond Streets today.  Diamond Green will feature a 5-story building comprised of about 12,000 SF of first floor retail space and 92 residential units aimed at students of Temple University.

Rodriguez Consulting, LLC (Rodriguez) provided Professional Engineering & Land Surveying services for the design of site improvements for the project.  Rodriguez was responsible for obtaining a Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) stormwater permit to manage the stormwater runoff created by the site improvements.  Rodriguez designed various stormwater management best management practices (BMPs) including a green roof and an underground stormwater detention facility that features two 96" diameter pipes running beneath the site's driveway.
