PHILADELPHIA, PA -- – Rodriguez Consulting LLC (Rodriguez) is pleased to announce that a team of employees and family members participated in the Philly Run Wild - Save the Orangutans 5K Run/Walk at the Philadelphia Zoo.  The race took place on Sunday, April 27, at 8:30AM and involved running through the beautiful grounds of the Philadelphia Zoo. Proceeds from this unique 5K run will support the conservation of endangered orangutans and their rainforest habitat in Borneo!  

"We have completed a number of projects in the Philadelphia Zoo so we were excited to be sending a number of employees to participate in this event and are proud to be a sponsor of such a worthy cause," stated Lou Rodriguez, CEO. 

Four employees and three family members participated in the event.  Malin Viberg placed third in the Female 20-29 age group with a time of 23:40.  Lou Rodriguez also placed third in the Male 40-29 age group with a time of 22:13.   Matt Sherwood finished with a time of 24:45 and Curt Hatfield finished with a time of 28:00.

As part of our corporate wellness plan, Rodriguez provides employee reimbursement for up to two (2) endurance events (running, cycling, or swimming) per year.  Running and endurance events require dedication and commitment and teach individuals to set goals and develop a plan to achieve these goals.  The goal of the program is to help employees gain confidence and improve self esteem while learning to incorporate personal fitness and healthy eating habits into their every day lives.
