A New Engineering Technician has joined the Rodriguez Consulting team at the Camden office.
Beth Beaumont started in the Civil Engineering business in 1982. She graduated from John K. Ossi Vocational Technical High School in Medford, NJ where she attended the drafting department.
She has over 23 years of professional experience within the surveying field. Looking back on her professional career, she has particularly good memories of companies which were big proponents of the NJ Society of Professional Land Surveyors. During this work, she was able to take part and attend continuing credit education classes during the State convention. While attending these classes, Beth submitted drawings and won several awards for drafting! Here are examples of her distinctions:
2004: 1st place - Title Survey
2005: 2nd place - Planning and Zoning / Land Use
2006: 3rd place - Planning and Zoning / Land Use
2007: 1st place - Subdivision plan
Through her professional career, Beth’s duties included, but were not limited to: Subdivision Plans, Variance plans, Plans of Survey, Existing Condition Plans, Wetlands Plans, Easement Plans, ALTA surveys, Farmland Preservation Surveys.
In her free time Beth enjoys knitting. She has been an avid crocheter for 39 years. Her mother and grandmother taught her the art of knitting which she relays back to her own daughter. Maybe it sounds like she is the type of calm, easy-going person. But let us not buy too into stereotypes. Beth is also a big car racing fan. She has been involved with dirt track racing since 1985 and now she even owns her own cars. Beth raced several times on the track herself, earning one 1st place finish and two second place finishes!
We are very glad to have such an experienced team member and hope you will have a great time working with us.
Welcome to the firm!
