Rodriguez Consulting is excited to announce a new addition to our team, Amie “Katie” Gipson, EIT.  Katie is a Civil Engineer with a strong background and a passion for water resources engineering and green stormwater infrastructure.  She joins of team of engineers and geospatial specialists at Rodriguez that are responsible for managing water, sewer and stormwater capital projects for the Philadelphia Water Department (PWD).

Katie is originally from Nashville, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering where she also served as an undergraduate research assistant studying the water quality of streams in the Great Smoky Mountains. After college she decided to relocate to Philadelphia as she was drawn to be a part of the city’s nationally recognized Green City, Clean Waters Program

Katie is an avid sports fan who loyally follows SEC Football, the Tennessee Titans and Nashville Predators but she is slowly “Trusting the Process” and converting to a Philly sports fanatic. When she’s not designing green stormwater infrastructure, you may find Katie jogging through the streets and parks of Philadelphia.  This weekend she will be participating in her first Broad Street Run, the nation’s largest 10-mile race.

Welcome aboard Katie!
