Last month Rodriguez Consulting was pleased to participate in the Fifth Annual PHS Junior College/ Career Day at the Pennsauken High School in Pennsauken Township, NJ. Charles Chelotti, our Managing Engineer from the Camden office, represented our company and talked about the challenges and rewards of the engineering profession.
Several panels and a career booth fair were prepared to give students the opportunity to learn more about various professions and find the best carrier path for them. Career Day creates a critical link between the classroom and the workplace by allowing students to explore various professional options so that they can make informed educational and career choices. We wanted to use this great opportunity to promote engineering and make students aware how important design, architecture and infrastructure are.
We hope that all students who were attending this Career Day can benefit from our experience and perhaps we inspired them to become engineers one day. We are always very excited about attending this kind of events because we know how important it is for young students to choose the right path and enjoy their professional career in the future. Career Days may potentially change students’ lives and we are glad we can be a part of that positive change.
