Matt Sherwood Change of Command Ceremony

United States Army Reserve Center- NSA, Mechanicsburg;  Saturday January 7th 2017



We are proud and pleased to inform that our Staff Engineer, Matthew Sherwoodthrough his demonstrated leadership potential, has been
entrusted with taking Command of the 382nd Engineer Company. 
The Change of Command Ceremony took place at the United States Army Reserve Center- NSA in Mechanicsburg on Saturday, January 7th.
Captain Matthew J. Sherwood served most recently as the Executive Officer of the 333rd Engineer Company in Reading, PA.
CPT Sherwood was commissioned in 2011 through the Reserve Officers Training Corps program. 
Following his commission he served as a Platoon Leader in the 333rd Engineer Company. While serving as a Platoon Leader CPT Sherwood served in Afghanistan performing horizontal construction operations.
His Awards and Decorations include: Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal and Bronze Star Medal.

We are lucky to have such a talented engineer in our team. We hope that Matthew will continue to fulfill his career dreams, and that he will find these new role very satisfying and inspiring. Congratulations Matt, and good luck on your new role!
