Lou Rodriguez is the CEO and founder of Rodriguez Consulting LLC (Rodriguez), an award winning professional engineering and land surveying firm which he founded in 2007. With a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from Widener University, Lou provides a unique combination of civil engineering and information technology experience in both the public and private sectors. Lou is a professional civil engineer (PA and NJ) with over 25 years of experience, primarily focused on water infrastructure and geographic information systems (GIS). Prior to forming Rodriguez, Lou worked at the Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) as a civil engineer in its Design Branch and eventually became the Department's first GIS Program Manager.
Lou has led Rodriguez Consulting from a start up company based in his house to a firm that has received direct contracts with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Maryland Air National Guard, Atlantic City Sewerage Company, Philadelphia Water Department, Philadelphia Zoo, Delaware River Waterfront Corporation (DRWC), South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO), and the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC).
Lou has been an active member of the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GPHCC) since 2008 and became the organization's chairman of the board in 2015. Lou is also a board member with the Philadelphia Facilities Management Corporation (PFMC), a non-profit corporation that manages the operations of the Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW), and the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB).

Lou lives with his wife Nicole and their son Louis, III and daughter Marissa in Gloucester County, NJ. Lou is a health and wellness enthusiast and enjoys taking part in various fitness activities including: crossfit, running, hiking, and mountain biking. Lou has competed in 17 marathons and countless other distance races across the USA.
